History

Ik Oankar
One primal energy
That pervades all of life
The supreme vehicle that pulls you out of the nightmare
And into the serene stream of dreams of the divine
To realign the mind to find that everything it was grasping to
Was nothing at all
Ik Oankar
Gives the strength to the devotee to stand tall amidst maya
Whom scratches and claws
Beckoning the angels to fall
But Ik Oankar returns all
Back to the one vibration
So our thoughts, words, and actions
Reflect the most highs immaculate imagination
To transcend the sensations of pain and suffering
And know bliss is
All there ever was, is, and forever shall be
Chant these holy words with reverence in your heart
To supersede the darkest of the dark
The blanket of the night
That attempts to hide your light
Sing these words with loving devotion
To reclaim your might
Whisper these words with tender surrender
To attune to the divine will
Until every cell of your being vibrates to the tune of the one
Until every hair follicle lives for the creator
And all of your obstacles become your emancipator
For the lord of light protects his devotees
Gifting peace and prosperity
Asking for nothing in return
Except your unquenchable love
Ik Oankar
Allows one to rise above the countless ideas, concepts, and stories
That have us in the push and pull between running from pain and obtaining glory
So set aside your ego
And let go
To the flow of words that leave your lips
Losing yourself as the sun and moon eclipse
To become one with the one whom gave you breath
For in our penultimate death
We shall find everlasting life and eternal rest
Ik Oankar
Was before there was a before
And will remain after the last chapter
It is all things manifest and unmanifest
Call forth from the center of your chest
In the twilight of the ambrosial hours
To raise your spirit as tall as a tower
Rise to the skies and touch heavens gates
Where your divine reflection
Patiently awaits
Bahadur Singh Ji
In the words of Bahadur Singh Ji fondly known as “Bhaji”.
I come from a family of spiritualists from my great grandfather all the way down to my father.
My father spent many, many years with the most respected of the saints of India. I grew up in the company of such souls.
I studied the holy text of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, under one of the most highly regarded spiritualists, where I also learned to play the harmonioum and tabla.
After the passing away of my father and my mentor. I was found by my late master, his holiness Baba Jaswant Singh Ji. He accepted me as his student and for 35 years I was in service to him until the day he passed away.
I was under his daily supervision and guidance. Under his tutelage, the journey of my spirituality soon became an experience beyond the word. He unravelled the mysteries of spirituality which are beyond the beyond the boundaries of the world.
He blessed me with a task (sewa) of spreading his message of oneness.
The message resonates Beyond the Boundaries of the Spoken Word.
He would say to me that, “A time will come when many people from all over the world will be listening to these teachings. It will unify and connect people back to the original source of creation, the ONE divine.”
And with that the journey to embark on this task (sewa) has begun in earnest to continue the work my late master left for us to complete.
As a humble servant of Baba Ji, I aim only to share his love and his message of the ONE divine with all.
Sangat of the Divine Light has been established to carry a lineage of Oneness in diversity, nurtured in the soil of humbleness, love, and compassion for all.
